You’re in Alfama — Lisbon’s oldest and most picturesque neighborhood. It’s a maze of narrow streets, traditional façades, and authentic fado music.
The apartment is just around the corner from the iconic Tram 28 and the Portas do Sol viewpoint. You’ll be surrounded by local cafés, artisan shops, and a truly Lisbon atmosphere.
We always recommend our guests explore the city on foot — both to access the apartment and to fully enjoy Lisbon’s charm at a relaxed pace.
To reach the apartment, you can take public transport to Miradouro das Portas do Sol, Santa Apolónia, or Terreiro do Paço. From any of these points, there will always be a short walk involved.
If you’re carrying large suitcases, we suggest taking a taxi or Uber and setting the drop-off point at Miradouro das Portas do Sol. From there, it’s just a short two-minute walk down a staircase to the apartment.
If you’re arriving by car, please note that the apartment’s street is pedestrian-only. Let us know in advance and we’ll gladly share some useful tips for nearby access. Keep in mind that paid parking is enforced throughout most of Lisbon.
