About the Accommodation

Situated in the heart of the historical Alfama neighborhood - the oldest and most typical district of Lisbon - you will find this charming and bright apartment, embedded in a delicious typical street, near Fado Restaurants where the bohemians used to sing improvised Fado, all night long.
This, all renewed apartment, has a large patio with a huge orange tree, a amazing living area with open kitchen and living room, 1 double suite with bathroom and closet, 1 double bedroom, one twin beds bedroom and 2 bathrooms. We have a portable bed (fits a child / teenager) that can be placed in the suite closet or living room.
When in season, you have fresh and free oranges from the patio orange tree :)
The apartment is at second floor of a traditional building without elevator.
We had a little help with the decoration in order to make it special. Hope you like it.

  • We are flexible about check-in and check-out time, depending on other guests leaving or arriving time. Although the regular check-in time is at 15:00 and regular checkout time is at 11:00,

  • For your comfort, we have self check-in. So, you can arrive at any time after 15:00. Before that time, please ask us.

    Neighbourhood

    Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo river.
    You will be the center of Fado birthplace, surrounded by the Church of Santa Engracia (National Pantheon), Fado Museum, wonderful independent restaurants and sleeping in São Jorge Castle shadow.
    At night you will dream of being in the army of the first Portuguese King (Dom Afonso Henriques), waiting to assault the Moorish castle :-)

    Transport

    28 Tram at your doorstep, Metro at 5 minutes walking... but the location allows you to explore most of Lisbon by feet :)
